Monday, 15th January 2024 is National Pothole Day in the UK. Digital Roads of the Future was featured on the BBC Breakfast show to show how Innovative Research is hoping to eliminate potholes and other road damage through early detection using digital twins, data science, smart materials, automation and robotics. The segment featured many researchers from the Digital Roads of the Future project, Professor Abir Al-Tabbaa, Professor Ioannis Brilakis, Dr Damian Palin, Dr N'zebo Richard Anvo and Prof Kristen MacAskill are interviewed along with Dr Lilia Potseluyko, Dr Hassam Taha, Dr Varun Reja and others.
